Little Jobs Service – Dungarvan
Helping older and vulnerable people with small jobs around the home
The Little Jobs Service supports older and vulnerable people living in the Dungarvan area by helping with small, practical jobs that can make day-to-day living easier and safer.
The service is designed to help people remain independent in their own homes, by providing support with tasks that may be difficult to manage alone.
The Little Jobs Service is delivered by Waterford LEADER Partnership CLG and is supported through the Tús Community Work Placement Initiative.
What can the Little Jobs Service help with?
We can help with a range of small household and outdoor tasks, including:

Small gardening and grass cutting

Light repairs and basic maintenance

Changing light bulbs

Power washing small outdoor areas

Moving small items of furniture

Potting plants and light weeding

Fitting non-wired smoke alarms

Fitting non-wired carbon monoxide alarms

What the service does not provide
The Little Jobs Service does not carry out:

Building or construction work

Roofing work

Electrical work

Plumbing work

General housework

Trade, contract or commercial work
The service focuses only on small, practical jobs.
